03Why Porsche owners protect the front
On a 911 the rear fenders are wider than the front track, so the front portion of each rear fender takes stones thrown by the front tires. Add a low nose and a long front trunk lid, and Porsches chip in more places than most cars. GT3, GTS and Turbo bumpers differ from the base car, so pick your trim.

04Shop vs. DIY
A shop has to pattern, cut and install the film. We do the patterning and cutting. What's left is a careful afternoon (or weekend) with a spray bottle and a squeegee.

A PPF shop measures your car, cuts the film, then installs it. We cut it to your vehicle's pattern before it ships, so the only part left is the install, and that's the part you can do yourself.

Year, make, model, trim. Bumpers and sensors change between model years, so the pattern is cut to yours, not to a family of cars.

Send a photo of the front of your car and a technician checks it against your kit. Then it's plotter-cut from a full roll of film, labeled by panel, rolled in a tube and boxed so nothing creases on the way.

Spray, float, squeegee. No trimming on the car, no blade near your paint. The install guide walks through every piece in order.

Yes. Performance trims, off-road packages and mid-cycle refreshes often use a different bumper, so you choose your exact year and trim when you order. Cutouts for parking sensors, washer nozzles and badges are built into the pattern.
Yes. "Clear bra" is the older name for paint protection film, from the days of black vinyl bras that covered the front end. Both names now mean the same clear urethane film. Every kit is 8.5 mil TPU film, cut to the panels of your Porsche.
No. Every piece is cut to the shape of your panel before it ships, including cutouts for sensors, washer nozzles and emblems where your vehicle needs them. You never take a blade to your paint.
A partial front kit is a good first install. Most people finish it in an afternoon, and the bumper is the piece that takes the most patience. The install guide covers each piece in order.
A spray bottle of slip solution (water and a few drops of baby shampoo), a spray bottle of tack solution (water and isopropyl alcohol), a squeegee, microfiber towels and a clean, shaded space.
