PPF for the BMW 7 Series
We have 14 pre-cut PPF (clear bra) kits for the BMW 7 Series, covering model years 2009–2027. On a sedan the bumper and the front portion of the hood take most of the rock hits, followed by the mirror caps and the area behind the front wheels.
A partial front kit covers the bumper, headlights, mirrors and the first 18–24 inches of the hood and fenders, which is where most of those hits land.
Each kit is for a specific range of years and trims, because bumpers, grilles and sensor layouts change between them. Pick your year and trim when you order and the cutouts follow it. Add your VIN and we'll double-check it before cutting.
The 7 Series pattern changes for the 2013 and 2023 model years, so pick your exact year. 750e xDrive, 745e iPerformance Luxury, 745e iPerformance M Sport and ALPINA B7 get their own kit, cut to their own front end.

Most of a PPF quote is labor.
A shop has to pattern, cut and install the film on your BMW 7 Series. We do the patterning and cutting. What's left is a careful afternoon (or weekend) with a spray bottle and a squeegee.

A PPF shop measures your car, cuts the film, then installs it. We cut it to your vehicle's pattern before it ships, so the only part left is the install, and that's the part you can do yourself.

Year, make, model, trim. Bumpers and sensors change between model years, so the pattern is cut to yours, not to a family of cars.

We check it, then cut it
Send a photo of the front of your car and a technician checks it against your kit. Then it's plotter-cut from a full roll of film, labeled by panel, rolled in a tube and boxed so nothing creases on the way.

Install it in your garage
Spray, float, squeegee. No trimming on the car, no blade near your paint. The install guide walks through every piece in order.
Will this kit fit my BMW 7 Series?

How long does it take to install PPF on a 7 Series?
Plan on about 2–3 hours for partial front, 45–75 minutes for front bumper, 10–15 minutes for headlights if it's your first time. Work in the shade, on a clean car, and don't rush the bumper.
How much does a 7 Series PPF kit cost?
Partial Front $299, Front Bumper $128, Headlights $34.95. A shop typically charges several times that for the same coverage because most of the price is labor.
Is this the same as a 7 Series clear bra?
Yes. "Clear bra" is the older name for paint protection film, from the days of black vinyl bras that covered the front end. Both names now mean the same clear urethane film. This kit is 8.5 mil TPU film, cut to the panels of your 7 Series.
Does the 7 Series kit include cutouts for sensors and emblems?
Yes. Parking sensors, washer nozzles, tow hook covers and badges are cut into the pattern where your year and trim need them. You don't trim anything on the car.
Do all 2024–2027+ 7 Series trims use the same kit?
No. For 2024–2027+ we cut 2 different 7 Series kits: 750e xDrive; 740i M Sport, 760i xDrive M Sport. Pick your trim when you order and you get the matching one.
Is there a separate kit for the 7 Series 750e xDrive?
Yes. 7 Series 750e xDrive, 7 Series 745e iPerformance Luxury, 7 Series 745e iPerformance M Sport and 7 Series ALPINA B7 have their own kits, because the front end differs from the other trims. Choose the trim when you order.
What do I need besides the kit?
A spray bottle of slip solution (water and a few drops of baby shampoo), a spray bottle of tack solution (water and isopropyl alcohol), a squeegee, microfiber towels and a clean, shaded space.
What if a piece doesn't fit?

How long does the film last?
The film carries a 10-year warranty against yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. Real-world life depends on sun exposure and how the car is washed.
